Participate in the Full Series and Final Pitch: If you’re aiming to compete in our final pitch event, which offers cash prizes, please ensure you register for Workshop 1, Workshop 2, and one Feedback Session. Participation in these sessions is required to qualify for the pitch.

Workshop 1: From Research to Market – An Introduction

Description: Begin your commercialization journey by learning how to define your research problem, conduct basic market research, and develop a compelling value proposition.



Workshop 2: Commercialization
Date: December 5th
Time: 12:00 - 1:00 PM
Location: In person at UBC
Description: Dive into the commercialization process, with a focus on protecting your intellectual property and exploring different pathways to bring your research to market.


Workshop 3: Feedback Session
Date: January 16th

Description: Present your ideas in an informal setting and receive personalized feedback from industry experts to refine and enhance your research solutions.


Workshop 4: Funding Your Solution
Date: February 13th

Description: Explore non-dilutive funding opportunities and learn how to craft compelling grant proposals to advance your research towards commercialization.


Final Pitch

Description: Compete in the final pitch event where you’ll present your project to a panel of industry experts, with cash prizes awarded to the top pitches.
