UBC Applied Science Rising Stars are graduating students who are passionate about their chosen field — architecture, landscape architecture, community and regional planning, engineering or nursing — and who meet some or all of the following criteria:
 
• have benefitted, or will likely benefit, society
• have advanced, or will likely advance, UBC and the Faculty of Applied Science’s vision and mission (e.g., fostering inclusive leadership, developing solutions for people, contributing to thriving cities)
• have overcome a significant personal challenge
• is unique, first-of-their-kind, superlative (e.g., youngest/oldest/most …), etc.
 
Complete this 5 - 10 minute survey to nominate a student graduating this fall. Submit one student nomination at a time. Nomination deadline is Nov 22.
